anti-alias
Pixel edge blending
Anti-alias is a technique in digital graphics that smooths jagged edges on curved or diagonal lines.
Without it, pixels create a stair-step effect; anti-aliasing blends edge pixels with surrounding colors to create the illusion of smoothness.
The verb means to apply this technique: Make sure to anti-alias the text before exporting.
