ankle circles
Joint warmup movements
Ankle circles are a simple exercise or stretch in which you rotate your foot in a circular motion at the ankle joint.
Often performed as a warm-up or rehabilitation movement, they help improve flexibility and circulation: The physical therapist had me do ankle circles before walking on the treadmill.
