neck rolls
Head rotation exercise
Neck rolls are a stretching exercise where you rotate your head in a slow circular motion, rolling from one shoulder to the other: Start with some neck rolls to loosen up.
Physical therapists sometimes discourage full circles, recommending half-circles instead.
The term also refers to a style of padded collar worn for neck support or warmth.
