V sign
Fingers for triumph
The V sign is a hand gesture with the index and middle fingers raised and spread in a V shape.
Made with palm facing outward, it signals victory or peace.
In Britain and some Commonwealth countries, the same gesture with palm facing inward is an insult equivalent to the middle finger: He gave the photographer a defiant V sign.
