BSL
UK deaf language
BSL is most commonly British Sign Language, the primary sign language of the deaf community in the United Kingdom.
It also abbreviates biosafety level, a classification system for laboratory containment: The virus requires BSL-4 precautions.
In some contexts, BSL stands for breed-specific legislation—laws restricting ownership of certain dog breeds deemed dangerous.
