V-shape

Two converging lines

A V-shape is a form resembling the letter V—two lines meeting at a point: The geese flew in a V-shape across the sky.

The term describes anything with this angular configuration: a V-shape neckline, a V-shape formation, a V-shape recovery in economics (sharp decline followed by sharp rebound).

As an adjective, usually hyphenated: a V-shaped valley.
