Utopia

Imagined ideal commonwealth

Utopia is the fictional island nation described in Thomas More's 1516 book of the same name, depicting an ideal society with communal property and religious tolerance.

More coined the name from Greek roots meaning "no place," suggesting such perfection exists nowhere.

The book gave English the concept of utopia as any imagined perfect world. (Lowercase utopia is any ideal society.)
