Huxley
Huxley is an English surname associated with two influential intellectual families.
Thomas Henry Huxley was a Victorian biologist who championed Darwin's theory of evolution.
His grandsons Aldous and Julian became prominent in the twentieth century—Aldous as the author of *Brave New World*, Julian as a biologist and first director of UNESCO.
The name now evokes scientific rationalism and literary dystopia.
