Where JavaScript allows variables to hold any type of data, TypeScript lets developers specify types—string, number, boolean—and catches type errors before code runs.
TypeScript compiles to plain JavaScript, so it works anywhere JavaScript does.
We migrated our codebase to TypeScript to reduce bugs.
