Tusk

Mac's double album

A tusk is an elongated tooth that protrudes from an animal's closed mouth—most famously the ivory tusks of elephants, but also those of walruses, wild boars, and narwhals.

Tusks serve for defense, digging, or display.

The word extends to anything tusk-shaped: the tusks of an excavator.

Elephant tusks have driven centuries of ivory trade and poaching.
