tuskers
Animals with ivory
Tuskers are animals with prominent tusks—typically elephants, but also wild boars or walruses.
The word usually refers to elephants, especially mature males with large ivory tusks: The old tusker emerged from the bush.
In hunting contexts, a tusker is a prized target; in conservation, a symbol of what poaching threatens.
