Piedmont's capital city
Turin is a city in northwestern Italy, capital of the Piedmont region.
It served as the first capital of unified Italy (1861–1865) and remains an industrial center, historically home to Fiat and Italian automotive manufacturing.
The city houses the Shroud of Turin, a linen cloth some believe bears the image of Christ.
