The BFG
The BFG is Roald Dahl's 1982 children's novel about a Big Friendly Giant who catches dreams and befriends a young orphan girl named Sophie.
The title character speaks in distinctive malapropisms and refuses to eat "human beans" unlike other giants.
The book was adapted into films in 1989 and 2016.
BFG can also stand for Big Fucking Gun, a powerful weapon in the Doom video game series.
