big

Of considerable size

Big is the most common all-purpose adjective for characterizing something that is larger, more important, or more significant than average.

Starting in the 19th century it jumped the part-of-speech barrier to operate as an adverb as well, though it is always considered somewhat informal in this context: think big or talk big.
