Sherman's
Atlanta campaign leader's
Sherman's is the possessive form of Sherman, most often referring to Union General William Tecumseh Sherman's 1864 March to the Sea during the American Civil War.
Sherman's march devastated Georgia, and the phrase evokes scorched-earth military tactics.
Sherman's may also indicate possession by anyone named Sherman: Sherman's car, Sherman's idea.
