monopoly
One seller dominates
Monopoly refers to exclusive control over something, especially a market or commodity: The company had a monopoly on telephone service for decades.
A monopoly exists when one entity dominates to the exclusion of competitors.
The term extends beyond economics to any situation of singular dominance: She has a monopoly on his attention. (Capitalized Monopoly is the board game.)
