Shakti

Hindu creative force

Shakti is a Hindu goddess personifying divine feminine power and creative energy.

She manifests in various forms—Durga, Kali, Parvati—and is worshipped as the supreme being in Shaktism.

As a proper name, Shakti is given to girls in South Asian cultures: Shakti was named after the goddess. (Lowercase shakti is the abstract concept of feminine energy.)
