SI units
International measurement system
SI units are the internationally standardized system of measurement used in science and most countries worldwide.
The abbreviation comes from French *Système International d'Unités*.
The system comprises seven base units—meter, kilogram, second, ampere, kelvin, mole, and candela—from which all other units derive.
The experiment recorded temperature in SI units rather than Fahrenheit.
