Professor X
Professor X is a fictional character from Marvel Comics, the telepathic founder and leader of the X-Men.
Created in 1963, Charles Xavier is a powerful mutant who advocates peaceful coexistence between mutants and humans, running a school for gifted youngsters that doubles as superhero headquarters.
His wheelchair and bald head are iconic.
The character appears extensively in films, television, and video games: Patrick Stewart's Professor X defined the role for a generation.
