clairvoyants
Those claiming foresight
Clairvoyants are people who claim the ability to perceive events or information beyond normal sensory contact—seeing into the future, reading minds, or knowing things happening at a distance.
The term carries an air of the mystical and is associated with fortune tellers, psychics, and mediums.
Whether someone regards clairvoyants as genuine or fraudulent depends largely on their beliefs about the supernatural.
The clairvoyants at the county fair promised to reveal my destiny for twenty dollars.
