Excalibur

Stone-embedded blade

Excalibur is the legendary sword of King Arthur in medieval British mythology.

In various tellings, Arthur either pulls it from a stone to prove his kingship or receives it from the Lady of the Lake.

The name evokes supreme power, rightful authority, and mythic destiny: He treated that old guitar like it was Excalibur.
