Pippin

Pippin is a given name, most familiar from the hobbit Peregrine "Pippin" Took in Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, and from the 1972 Broadway musical of the same name about a medieval prince.
Several early Frankish kings bore the name, including Pippin the Short, father of Charlemagne. (Lowercase pippin is a type of apple.)
