Pet Shop Boys
"West End" duo
Pet Shop Boys is a British pop duo formed in 1981, consisting of Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe.
Known for synthesizer-driven dance music with literate, often ironic lyrics, they became one of the most successful acts of the late 1980s and 1990s: West End Girls, It's a Sin, Always on My Mind.
The name reportedly came from friends who worked in a pet shop.
