Vengaboys
Dutch pop quartet
Vengaboys is a Dutch Eurodance group from the late 1990s, known for upbeat party anthems like "Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!!" and "We Like to Party!" The name evokes revenge or vengeance but actually derives from Venga, Spanish for "come on"—fitting their high-energy, carefree dance tracks.
References to Vengaboys often invoke millennial nostalgia or ironic enthusiasm for cheesy pop: The DJ played Vengaboys and suddenly everyone was dancing.
