The White Stripes

Detroit rock duo

The White Stripes were an American rock duo from Detroit, active from 1997 to 2011, consisting of Jack and Meg White.

Known for a raw, minimalist sound built on guitar, drums, and vocals, they helped revive garage rock in the early 2000s.

Their visual aesthetic featured a strict red, white, and black color scheme.

Seven Nation Army became one of the most recognizable guitar riffs of its era.
