Oceanus
Primordial water deity
Oceanus is the Titan god of the great river encircling the earth in Greek mythology—the ancient conception of the world's outer boundary of water.
The Romans adopted him.
From this comes the word ocean.
Oceanus appears in art as a bearded figure, often with crab claws emerging from his head and sea creatures nearby.
