Obadiah

One-chapter biblical book

Obadiah is a Hebrew name meaning "servant of God," borne by a minor prophet in the Hebrew Bible and several other biblical figures.

The Book of Obadiah is the shortest book in the Old Testament, a single chapter prophesying doom for Edom.

The name appears occasionally in English-speaking countries, often in religious communities: Obadiah was named after his great-grandfather, a Baptist minister.
