Mulberry Street

Little Italy road

Mulberry Street is a street in Lower Manhattan, historically the heart of New York City's Little Italy and later its Chinatown.

The name evokes old immigrant neighborhoods, tenement life, and ethnic enclaves.

It's also the title of Dr.

Seuss's first children's book, And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street (1937), which became synonymous with childhood imagination and tall tales.
