make-believe
Children's imaginative play
Make-believe is pretending or fantasy, especially the imaginative play of children: The kids spent the afternoon in a world of make-believe.
As an adjective, it describes things that exist only in imagination: a make-believe friend, make-believe adventures.
The term suggests innocent fantasy rather than deliberate deception.
