Mediterranean Avenue is the cheapest property on the Monopoly board game, one of two purple spaces at the start.
Its low rent and purchase price make it the least valuable real estate in the game.
The name references Mediterranean architecture and evokes Atlantic City's street names, which inspired the original board: I landed on Mediterranean Avenue but didn't bother buying it.
