Raleigh

Research Triangle city

Raleigh is the capital city of North Carolina, located in the central part of the state.

It forms one corner of the Research Triangle, along with Durham and Chapel Hill, a region known for universities and technology companies.

The city was named after Sir Walter Raleigh, the English explorer who sponsored early attempts to colonize the area.

We drove to Raleigh for the state fair.
