Frodo Baggins
Frodo Baggins is the protagonist of J.R.R.
Tolkien's *The Lord of the Rings*, a hobbit from the Shire who inherits a powerful ring from his uncle Bilbo and must journey to destroy it.
His name has become shorthand for an unlikely hero undertaking an impossible quest against overwhelming odds.
I felt like Frodo Baggins hauling that project across the finish line.
The character is often referenced when someone small or unassuming takes on a burden others cannot or will not bear.
