Serbs

Balkan ethnic group

Serbs are a South Slavic ethnic group native to the Balkans, predominantly associated with Serbia but with significant populations in Bosnia, Croatia, Montenegro, and Kosovo.

Most Serbs are Eastern Orthodox Christians, a distinction that has historically separated them from Catholic Croats and Muslim Bosniaks.

The Serbs celebrated their patron saint's day.

The term also refers to citizens of Serbia regardless of ethnicity.
