35mm film
Camera's light-sensitive strip
35mm film is the standard photographic film format, measuring 35 millimeters in width.
It dominated still photography and cinema for most of the twentieth century.
A roll of 35mm film typically yields 24 or 36 exposures.
Though largely displaced by digital imaging, 35mm remains popular among photographers who prefer the look and process of analog photography: She still shoots on 35mm film.
