half-frame
Two per frame
Half-frame refers to a camera format using half the standard 35mm film frame, yielding two exposures where one would normally go.
The format was popular in compact cameras of the 1960s and 70s, doubling the number of shots per roll.
In video and animation, half-frame can describe displaying or capturing at half the normal frame rate or resolution.
