weigh-in
Boxer's scale moment
A weigh-in is the official measurement of weight before a competition, especially in boxing, wrestling, or other sports with weight classes: He barely made weight at the weigh-in.
The term extends to any formal check-in or contribution to a discussion: We're waiting for her weigh-in on the proposal.
