Gypsum sheet material

Wallboard is a rigid panel used to cover interior walls and ceilings, typically made of gypsum plaster pressed between paper sheets.

It's nailed or screwed to studs, then taped and painted to create smooth surfaces.

Also called drywall, Sheetrock, or plasterboard.
