vertices
Where edges meet
Vertices is the plural of vertex—points where lines, edges, or curves meet.
In geometry, a triangle has three vertices, a cube has eight.
The word appears in mathematics, computer graphics, and architectural description: The vertices of the polygon were unevenly spaced.
The plural vertexes exists but sounds awkward to most ears.
