polyhedra
Cubes and pyramids
Polyhedra is the plural of polyhedron—a three-dimensional solid bounded by flat polygonal faces.
Cubes, pyramids, and dodecahedrons are polyhedra.
The term appears in geometry, architecture, and crystallography: The artist's sculptures featured complex polyhedra.
Regular polyhedra have identical faces; irregular ones do not.
