user-centered

Designed for humans

User-centered describes design, systems, or processes that prioritize the needs, behaviors, and experiences of the people who will actually use them.

A user-centered approach gathers feedback from real users throughout development rather than assuming what they want.

The term appears most often in software and product design: user-centered design principles, a more user-centered interface.

Also spelled user-centred in British English.
