Urban rail paths
Tramlines are the parallel rails embedded in streets for trams to run on, or the routes those rails follow.
In tennis and badminton, tramlines are the narrow strips between the singles and doubles sidelines—in bounds for doubles, out for singles.
British slang uses tramlines for any parallel lines: He had tramlines shaved into his hair.
