Wider playing area
A doubles court is the full playing area used in racket sports when teams of two compete against each other.
In tennis, badminton, and similar games, the doubles court includes the alleys—extra strips along each side that are out of bounds during singles play: Her shot landed in the alley, good for doubles but out in singles.
