Curvy little marks
Squiggles are irregular, wavy lines that twist and curve without pattern—the kind a child makes when scribbling, or that appear in someone's illegible handwriting.
The word suggests playfulness or disorder: The doctor's signature was just a series of squiggles.
To squiggle is to draw such lines or to move in a wriggling motion.
