throwaways

Things you trash

Throwaways are things intended to be discarded after use: throwaway razors, throwaway culture.

A throwaway remark or line is made casually, without much thought—sometimes deliberately offhand to seem unimportant: It was just a throwaway comment, but it stuck with me.

Throwaways can also mean people treated as disposable by society: foster kids who feel like throwaways.
