leaflets

Small informational handouts

Leaflets are small printed sheets of paper distributed by hand, typically containing information, advertisements, or political messages: Protesters handed out leaflets at the rally.

The word also refers to the individual segments of a compound leaf, or the small flaps of tissue in heart valves.

The singular leaflet works as both noun and verb—to leaflet an area is to distribute printed materials there.
