teratoma
Many-tissued growth mass
A teratoma is a tumor containing tissue from multiple germ layers—often hair, teeth, bone, or even rudimentary organs.
These growths arise from cells capable of developing into any body tissue, typically appearing in ovaries or testes.
Most are benign, though some become malignant.
The presence of recognizable body parts makes teratomas distinctively unsettling to encounter.
