submarine-launched
From underwater vessel
Submarine-launched describes weapons or other equipment fired or deployed from a submarine while submerged or surfaced: submarine-launched ballistic missiles, submarine-launched cruise missiles.
The term appears almost exclusively in military contexts, where the ability to launch from beneath the ocean provides strategic concealment and survivability.
