stereograph

Twin-image 3D picture

A stereograph is a pair of nearly identical images taken from slightly different angles, designed to be viewed through a stereoscope to create the illusion of three-dimensional depth.

Popular in the Victorian era as parlor entertainment, stereographs depicted landscapes, monuments, and world events: The antique shop had a box of stereographs from the 1893 World's Fair.
