songbook

Bound musical pages

A songbook is a collection of songs, usually with lyrics and often with musical notation, compiled in a single volume.

Songbooks may be organized around a theme, genre, artist, or purpose—hymnals for churches, fakebooks for jazz musicians, campfire songbooks for scouts.

She brought her old folk songbook to the singalong.

The term can also refer informally to a performer's repertoire: That classic has been in her songbook for decades.
