songbooks
Printed music compilations
Songbooks are books containing the lyrics and often the musical notation for a collection of songs.
They range from hymnals used in churches to campfire songbooks to collections organized by genre or artist: She found her grandmother's old songbook in the attic.
The term also applies to a composer's or performer's body of work: the Great American Songbook.
